The founding of The Expertship Institute last year is the culmination of 10 years of work by my team with subject matter experts.

We started as a leadership development consultancy, HFL, which still operates successfully today. We then created an Expertship consultancy, working with subject matter experts in Australia. This company, Expertunity, has been at the vanguard of program design and delivery of Expertship programs and the publications of Expertship books.

In 2024 we began to get expressions of interest in Expertship programs from far and wide, and realized that as a small content creation business we couldn’t possibly scale to meet this demand.

The solution was to create an Institute, which holds all of the Expertship IP and programs we have designed – The Expertship Institute. This will support delivery partner organisations to deliver Expertship initiatives. Expertunity becomes the New South Wales and New Zealand delivery partner. We have added delivery partners in Western Australia, Victoria, South Australia and Queensland. We hope to add partners in New Zealand, Singapore, the UK and the United States in the next six months. These partners are already adding huge value to the Institute, and we hope in the next few years will help us to unleash the potential of subject matter experts everywhere.

Expertunity has now over 50 regular Expertship clients, including very large enterprises and public sector agencies on four continents, and we have delivered programs to participants in 16 countries.
