What mindset should I use when answering the questions?
Good question! This is a self-assessment that only you will see. The questions are all behavioral – how often do you do this particular thing? Since only you will see the results, it is best to be honest with yourself. This will make the results meaningful.
Special advice – you’ll come across some questions that you don’t think are part of your role, or you have never been asked to do. This is typical. But don’t be judgmental, the questions are highly relevant. In your feedback report you’ll get to see why.
Why is it available for free?
We have made the self-assessment free because we want to engage you in thinking about how you can 2X the value you bring as a SME. The full Expertship360, where experts self-assess but also have many of their most important stakeholders also complete the survey, is a paid product. You can enquire about doing the full survey by completing the form below.
If I don’t want to take the test, are there other resources I can explore?
Yes, of course. We would strongly recommend you explore our textbook for SMEs, Master Expert. You can review a few chapters of the book for free here or go to a page where you can purchase it.
